Go wabi sabi at the Cottage! If you love the idea of the perfectly imperfect, you will enjoy the quirky, time-worn surroundings of Journey’s End Cottage in its own private gardens.
Hidden away at the end of a country road in the mountains of Samsonvale, lies this small log cabin with its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The 40 acres contain abundant wildlife, and for the energetic, our amazing private path - a steep and challenging mountain walk to the top of the block. Turn right onto Hipathites Road where you will find views over the surrounding countryside, Pine River Dam and the Glasshouse Mountains.
At the Cottage, there will be time for long conversations or to read a good book by the woodfire in winter - this is a very popular time for Qlders who like to cosy up in the cottage and take advantage of the very few weeks of cold weather we get in our beautiful sub-tropical climate! It is also stunningly beautiful at the Cottage in the rain.
In the summer, throw open the doors to the verandah and sit on the swing seat or dream for a while in the hammock, and watch the beautiful birds who have always called these magical surroundings home and please see page 4 of the accommodation photos to view just some of our many feathered visitors!
